Vanvasi Ashram Visit 6
Finally the most awaited day had come! I went to Vanvasi Kalyaan Ashram again and met my little friend Sandeep. He face problems in his English subject and approached me for help. We managed to finish it up as quickly as possible. Then I asked Sandeep what he actaully loved to study in his school to make sure that he is not bored of the same thing again and over again. His answer was 'science' one of my favourites too. He bought his science text book and we started to read about 'Natural Resources'. He was very keen in learning science according to what I felt. We even learnt about some of the Newton's Laws and did them practically using tennis balls. I could see a smile on his face when we completed the chapter and he thanked me for that. I experienced something within me, somthing happy that i never had felt before. Maybe this is that something which encourages me to go there and do something constructive with them.

Dear Aditya,
ReplyDeleteDay by day you are getting involved in your teaching activity. You are taking proper care of your student by seeing that he should not get bored. That's great! It shows your awareness about your work.
Publish some photographs also so we can see student and teacher together.
I wish you Good Luck for your work.
Regards,

Dear Aditya,
ReplyDeleteYour involvement in your work and with your student is worth appreciable. I hope, the kind of happiness and satisfaction of that little achievement, that you have very rightly started feeling inside you, will definitely turn out to be the driving force to do some thing really great and achieve something which will definitely make you feel proud of yourselves.
The 'service' element of CAS is obviously reflected through your activity. You can now start thinking of incorporating the 'creativity' and 'action' elements more predominantly along with it as there are lot of scopes and so that you can get something really concrete out of these kids and feel a sense of satisfaction and pride.
Good going! Wish you all the best!
