It was 25 of december, it was Christmas! I woke up early and reached the botanical garden of my city for the bird watching meet. We began walking into the garden and just a minute later we spotted a Kingfisher Bird sitting on a branch, it was the first time when I saw a Kingfisher live in front of me . We went further in and looked up into the sky and saw Green Bee Eaters flying around and catching flies for their breakfast. We started moving in and thruogh the shrubs and spotted a Indian Robin. We reached the end and started to follow the narrow road and found a Black Drongo sitting on a tree, later we saw some Wasps flying around, and
also saw some Sun birds and a Common Hoope which is actually very rare to spot in open but i was lucky that day. It was a terrific experience for me and got to know a little bit more about my enviornment, I even learnt about bird behavior. There are more than 200 bird species found in my city itself and I am looking forward to photograph them all in my camera.

Vanvasi Ashram Visit 6
Finally the most awaited day had come! I went to Vanvasi Kalyaan Ashram again and met my little friend Sandeep. He face problems in his English subject and approached me for help. We managed to finish it up as quickly as possible. Then I asked Sandeep what he actaully loved to study in his school to make sure that he is not bored of the same thing again and over again. His answer was 'science' one of my favourites too. He bought his science text book and we started to read about 'Natural Resources'. He was very keen in learning science according to what I felt. We even learnt about some of the Newton's Laws and did them practically using tennis balls. I could see a smile on his face when we completed the chapter and he thanked me for that. I experienced something within me, somthing happy that i never had felt before. Maybe this is that something which encourages me to go there and do something constructive with them.

Pot Painting
So, here is how it goes in a CAS period.
Today, we are going to paint some pots in which we put in plants. First when we saw them, they where pretty dull and lifeless so we decided to paint them so that they can become beautiful to look at. We all thought for a while, picked up paints and brushes and got to work. This needed creativty and exercise and patience, in fact a lot of them. Mrs Deepashri Halve helped us in the job. So first we painted the base coat which was brown and then made shapes and designs on the pot. Most of the staff and students really liked our work!
